Underworld Awakening
Have to admit: It's nice to see Kate Beckinsale back in the black skintight latex outfit. But that's not the only reason -- honest! -- that Underworld Awakening is my first guilty pleasure of 2012.

it totally chintzed on time, it has worn the hybridization idea threadbare, and worst of all, it breaks the cardinal rule of any scifi...once ground rules have been established, you stay within them...i can deal with transmogrifying moonshine, but the transmuting virus/antiviral vaccine truc is completely out of line with it and force fed to what there is of plot...which is damn little...success? uh uh...is bust that leaves the franchise to feed off a niche audience...happily for producers these days, a substantial niche audience can actually be eked out of a planetary one, but this thing had about as much quality and staying power as a flash gordon episode...just a link to another link, but no story at all in itself...your review blows, maestro.
